My work is fueled by a sense of wonder and a desire to express the extraordinary beauty of the everyday world.

I started exploring photography with a daily photo project and blog in 2010 called AvantGarden365.

Through that year of intense experimentation, and tens of thousands of pictures (most of them very, very bad), I discovered my own artistic perspective - a process that combines an awakened eye and years of studying art history with my love of nature.
